Exporting your video
Create your final download from the Export panel: file name, format, and delivery.
When your video looks right, the Export panel turns it into a finished file you can download.
Start an export
Click Export Video, or Export Frame for a single still. A dialog opens where you set up the render.
Name your file
The file name builds itself from tags. Your school and template name tags are on by default. Click a tag to add or remove it, add tags for other fields, or type your own name. The default works, and you can change it any time.
Pick a format
- MP4 for everyday sharing and playback, with a higher-bitrate option when you want more quality.
- MOV (ProRes) for broadcast use or editing in other software.
- Frames export as PNG or JPG.
Need a format that isn't listed? Ask us and we'll add it.
Render and download
- Want an email when it's ready? Check Email me when my exports are done.
- Click Export. Your render shows up as a card in the Exports panel with live progress.
- When it's done, click Download on the card. Most videos take a minute or two.
You can run up to three renders at once. If your template uses a collection, you pick which items to export first. Each one comes out as its own file.
A video walkthrough is on the way. If you get stuck before then, reach out and we're glad to help.
