Editing the source
Double-click into a layer to edit its source content on its own.
Every element on the canvas has a source. Open it to fine-tune that element's contents on their own.
Drill into a layer
Double-click an element on the canvas, or a layer in the Timeline, to enter its source. A breadcrumb at the top shows where you are. Click back through it or press Escape to step out.
What the Source view shows
The Source tab shows only that layer's contents, at their own resolution. Use it to adjust one piece, like the position or size of one line of text in a lockup. The layout around it stays put.
Edit text and media
- Double-click a line of text to edit it inline. Press Escape to commit the change.
- Swap media or adjust a single element on its own.
- Switch back to the Canvas tab any time to see everything together.
