What's New, Right in the App

We ship new features often. Most weeks there’s something that changes how you’d build a video. But if you only open SportStudio to make your gameday content, you’d never know unless you read the blog.

So we put the news where you already are. The bell at the top of the app now shows what’s new.

The blue dot

When we release a feature, a blue dot shows up on the bell. Click the bell and the What’s new window opens with our five latest features. Each one has its date and a line or two about what it does. The ones you haven’t seen yet have a blue dot of their own.

Click any feature to open its full post in a new tab. All updates at the bottom takes you to the blog.

Once you open the window, the dot goes away. It stays gone on your other computers too, since we remember it for your account, not your browser. It comes back the next time we have something new.

Only features

The bell isn’t for every post we write. It’s for new things you can use in SportStudio, like this week’s smoother previews and the player picker. Fixes and behind the scenes work don’t make the list, so when the dot shows up, it’s worth a look.

The roadmap

The bell used to open our community roadmap. That’s out of the app now. The roadmap is still on the site at /roadmap if you want to see what we’re working on next. And if there’s a feature you want, let us know. It might be the next one in the bell.
